While many companies are still weary about the implications, uses, and overall necessity of Twitter, there are also companies who have seen its capabilities and importance in business. To help advocate the latter point of view, (and with anything else in business), there was a study done.

Twitter is evolving at such a rapid rate I see evidence that the business world perception of Twitter is still lagging behind the reality of its potential uses. Those are some pretty powerful words for the advocacy of companies using Twitter. From a press release Irbtrax released, here are some results from their findings from the study:
