What is Corrective Advertising? | Definition and Overview


Corrective Advertising : Messages or advertisements found within another advertisements. These are ordered by the Federal Trade Commission so that any mistaken consumer impressions from prior advertising can be corrected. This can include disclosing more side affects, or reminding consumers what a particular product is used for.
